Psychic Surf Swami's Surf Report

August 18th, 2007

Well, so much for everybody getting all worked up and flipped out for the massive Dean swell, eh? I never cease to be amazed at the idiocy and hype that comes from certain quarters when there's the merest change in the weather. No wonder all the major news media feed people a constant diet of tripe, pap, and fluff. The doofuses staring into the tv screen like it that way.

Mayhaps we shouldn't oughtta be counting our chickens until we're certain that somebody else hasn't had scrambled eggs for breakfast. Or something like that.

Today is yet another fine day for the young'uns, and the rest of us will just have to content ourselves with that.

Forecast is calling for increasing onshores, with the usual increase in local-fetch grahdoo, so all the slop-hoppers will be glad to hear that.

But whatever else happens, just remember.........it's not September yet.

A Little help Please!

LOST surfboard
No, not the brand name this board's really lost! Please help this kid out.

-O'Hare

Driving down A1A in Sattelite and somewhere between Taco Bell and Perkins my 5'10 QF StingFish Flew out of the bed of my truck (well, flipped, it was bungie-corded down, the board slipped back and the cord made it flip out). Before I could get turned around to pick it up, someone grabbed it. Weather they intentionally stole it, or just picked it up is up in the air. It happened FAST Though....

IIts like a year and a half old. Good Condition, Yellowish orange fading to lighter in the center. One kinda brown pressure ding on the stringer about midpoint, another kinda brown pressure dent / scratch on the bottom of the nose (like 1" x 4")...FCS G5 Sides

There will be a reward...If you picked it up, please return it...no questions asked...I just want my board...First new board I ever baught, etc, so its got some sentimental value, too.
