You know how when you take a whole bunch of protons and smash them together <i>really</i> hard, and then all of a sudden they start turning into helium and give off all kinds of light and heat and energy and stuff, and then when the ball of silicon and oxygen and iron you're on rotates around to where you can see all that bitchin action going on, but you're ninety-three million miles away from it so it doesn't fry you and you can just stand there and admire it from your safe distance?

Is that not the coolest shit <i>ever</i>, or what?
